The welcome

The concourse: a huge pedestrian under-canopy esplanade marks the main entrance to the building.

The public hall: a very spacious reception area (16 metres in height) directs passengers and those accompanying them simply and quickly when entering and exiting the terminal.
The public hall will also house shops and services (Relay, Pharmacy, Convenience Store) and an airport and tourist information area.

The check-in area is equipped with innovative and high-performance equipment to avoid queues and reduce stress (self-service terminals, automated baggage drop-off, etc.).

Security checkpoint

The 16 security checkpoints stations are equipped with cutting-edge equipment to optimise passenger flow and to prioritise the handling of some passengers (premium, persons with reduced mobility, families with children, etc.).

A large waiting area and shops in the heart of the terminal.

To provide an optimum service offer, the project will incorporate a 10,000 m² common area dedicated to relaxation, leisure activities, shopping and dining, in the restricted area in the heart of the terminal.
Having passed through the security checkpoints, all passengers will enter the heart of the building where a unique pre-travel experience awaits.

Light and transparent, this central space with a human touch is designed around a “plaza” that serves three functions:

  • A shopping centre, offering passengers a multitude of purchasing choices in a pleasant and attractive environment.
  • A relaxation area, the soul of this new building, where passengers can wait in comfortable areas offering a wealth of services until their boarding gate is displayed (using the Go-to-Gate principle).
  • A passenger departure crossroads directing them to their boarding gates and to available services and shops.
